Finding Your Calm

What does it mean to find your calm? For many its the weekend where they can recharge their batteries and go again for another week. But lets be honest that just doesn't cut it for most. Why, because to find your calm you have to look at what is going on within you and check in with your nervous system because finding your calm starts with you guessed it your nervous system.


It took me years and some change to figure this out, because growing no one even knew what the hell a nervous system was. So when I started my healing journey and started learning more about the body and how it worked I learned about the nervous system and how its our regulator for our bodies and that it is one of the most important systems in our body.


So with that being said lets talk about what I've done to help myself and others to find their calm, because remember its not all one size fits all. After those years of trail and error I came up with a checklist and prompts to really tune into your self so that you can connect with your own nervous system. Its a three step process that is easy and simple to do.


The first step is called power of the pause. It teaches you how to come back to you and how to tune into your nervous system.


The second step is called creating your calm. This step helps communicate with your nervous system.


The third step is called anchoring in your calm. This step is helping you set up a nervous system routine for check ins.
